about

Just your average CS Student.

Experience

  • C++, C
  • Web Development, Including: HTML, CSS, small amount of JavaScript
  • Networking
  • Linux, Specifically: Arch Linux, Debian-based Distros, etc.
  • GoLang, Python, ASM
  • “nerdy stuff”
  • Vi Improved / vim mastermind “mwhahahahaha”

I started making “poo poo”, or rather “doo doo” websites with the old Google Sites when I was 7. A whopping (wowiee!) ten years later, here I am staring at a screen for 99.99% of my life, not touching grass (yes, very funny), coding god knows what, or doing absolutely random things, some quite wacky and weird, mainly because who doesn’t love a good laugh hm?

Either way, I’ve been tinkering and messing stuff up for a good 10 years now. From the crappy google sites I made, I moved onto HTML and CSS on a poo poo Android tablet. Of course I moved onto a device which you can actually make things on properly without getting blisters.

A year or two after that I managed to find myself in the Linux ecosystem with an old HP desktop computer which once, in the times of the stone age, had the infamous and much disliked windows vista (aaa scary!!). My dad managed to scramble this desktop computer and a monitor out of a pile of devices which were going to be thrown away by his employer.

And thus, as time goes on, I dug deeper and deeper until, well here we are. With my lovely humongous and fairly insane collection (which, of course is always growing, for good measure) growing with every month, here we are!

Plus, a comment from my own mum: “What a lovely pile of junk”

Interests

I am particularity interested in old technology, especially from the 1990s-2010s eras. Though modern technology is immensely interesting too. I daily drive a ThinkPad T470p with Arch Linux.

I am also interested in old software, such as, however not just including;

  • Any old-ish version of MS Office (Pre 2016),
  • Any old version of windows (Pre Windows 8)
  • Any Linux Distro (pre 2016)

Of course, I’m interested in Linux as a whole, so that would mean any distribution which sparks my interest at any time. For example;

  • The distro I use daily: Arch Linux
  • Any debian-based distribution
  • gentoo
  • redhat, etc

And that’s not even getting into the fact that I’m constantly looking for things which would expand this interest.

Of course, I’m constantly looking for wacky new-old tech to mess around with. I’ll update this image periodically. This current image is a small portion of my collection from the 31st August 2024. (7th Oct 2024 – Added some more images as well)
